Second Call for Scholarships

Announcement: Today’s Examination Committee of the Joint Second Cycle Degree in International Relations Programme: Europe in the Visegrad Perspective approved a list of scholarship holders for the academic year 2014/15. The Examination Committee awarded:
  • 3 scholarships for EU Eastern Partnership candidates
  • 1 scholarships for V4 candidates
Awarded students will be notified individually by email.

The Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, acting on behalf of the VNDREAN Consortium, hereby announces the call for scientific scholarships within the framework of the International Visegrad Fund’s Visegrad University Study Grant – Joint Degree Program for accepted students of the Joint Second Cycle Degree in International Relations: Europe in the Visegrad Perspective for the academic year 2014/15.

Call time table:

  1. Scholarship applications must be submitted not later than September 5, 2014 FILL OUT THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION HERE
  2. Applications will be assessed by the Scholarship Selection Committee by September 9,  2014
  3. Applicants will be notified about the results of the call no later than September 11, 2014. Call results will be available on the programme’s website.
  4. Applicants who are awarded a scholarship will sign scholarship contracts by October 1,  2014
  5. Students whom scholarship is awarded are obliged to complete the coursework as specified in the programme’s curriculum.

In the academic year 2014/15 students holding citizenship of one of the Visegrad countries, namely: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, will be awarded subsistence scholarship for MA in International Relations: Europe in the Visegrad Perspective programme (not exceeding its regular length) of 6,900 EUR as well as tuition fee contribution amounting to 2,400 EUR.

According to the IVF scholarship rules, which we are obliged to follow in our joint degree programme, Visegrad countries students can receive subsistence scholarships for the period of study spent abroad (3 semesters: 2,300 EUR per semester except the one spent at the student’s home country), whereas the tuition fee contribution is awarded for the full duration of the programme (4 semesters).

In the academic year 2014/15 students holding citizenship of one of the EU Eastern Partnership countries, namely: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will be awarded subsistence scholarship for MA in International Relations: Europe in the Visegrad Perspective programme (not exceeding its regular length) of 9,200 EUR for 4 semesters, as well as tuition fee contribution amounting to 2 400 EUR.

According to the IVF scholarship rules, which we are obliged to follow in our joint degree programme, EU Eastern Partnership students can receive subsistence scholarships and tuition fee contribution for the whole duration of the programme (4 semesters).
